CHR-2797 is an aminopeptidase inhibitor, with IC50 values of 100 nM for LAP3 (LAP), 150 nM for PSAP (PuSA) and 220 nM for CD13 (Aminopeptidase N). CHR-2797 is converted in cells to the active acid metabolite, CHR-79888, which is a significant inhibitor of Leukotriene A4 hydrolase with an IC50 of 8 nM. CHR-2797 exhibits profound anti-proliferative effects against a range of cancer cell lines such as U-937, HL-60, KG-1 and GDM-1.
