CHD1L Antibody (2170C3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CHD1L protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-CHD1L antibody (2170C3a) is available as the non-conjugated format. CHD1L protein, or Chromodomain helicase DNA-binding protein 1-like, consists of 897 amino acids and is encoded by the human gene CHD1L. CHD1L monoclonal antibody (2170C3a) recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in chromatin remodeling, which is essential for regulating gene expression and maintaining genomic stability. CHD1L is part of the CHD family of proteins, which are ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes that combine chromodomains with SWI2/SNF2 ATPase/helicase motifs and DNA-binding capabilities. The chromodomain, a conserved protein region of approximately 40-50 amino acids, is integral to CHD1L′s function in chromatin manipulation, allowing for the dynamic regulation of DNA accessibility. The interaction of CHD1L with other chromatin-associated proteins is vital for its role in cellular processes such as DNA repair and transcriptional regulation, highlighting CHD1L′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to DNA damage. CHD1L (2170C3a) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of chromatin dynamics and gene regulation in human cells.

I am using CHD1L (2170C3a): sc-81065 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
