cGamp disodium salt is a cyclic nucleotide used for proteomics research. cGamp disodium salt is a STING ligand and messenger inducing STING-dependent type I interferon response. The binding of cGamp disodium salt to STING leads to activation of IRF3 and induction of interferon-beta. cGamp disodium salt also plays a role in bacterial colonization and chemotaxis.
