Cesium trifluoroacetate (CsTFA) is used for a variety of purposes, such as in the synthesis of organic compounds, as a catalyst in chemical reactions, and as a reagent for the preparation of fluorinated compounds. Additionally, it is used as a source of fluoride ions in the study of fluoride-mediated reactions. Moreover, Cesium trifluoroacetate is employed to study ion-exchange reactions, electrochemical processes, and to synthesize polymers.
