CENP-R Antibody (G-78) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CENP-R protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CENP-R antibody (G-78) is available as the non-conjugated form. CENP-R, also known as centromere protein R, CENPR, ITGB3BP (Integrin β3 binding protein), β3-endonexin, NRIF3 (nuclear receptor-interacting factor 3), or TAP20, plays a crucial role in kinetochore protein assembly and chromosome segregation during cell division. CENP-R is characterized by a DD1 or RepD1 domain and an LXXLL motif, which are essential for function as a nuclear receptor coactivator, particularly in response to estrogen. CENP-R is widely expressed and exists in several isoforms due to alternative splicing, each with distinct localization patterns; isoform 1 is found at the centromere in the nucleus, while isoform 4 predominantly resides in the cytoplasm.
