SEE ALSO...

ST6GAL1 Antibody (ZB55) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects ST6GAL1 in human samples through applications such as immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). ST6GAL1, also known as CD75, is a crucial sialyltransferase that plays a significant role in the modification of glycoproteins and glycolipids, which is essential for various cellular processes, including tumorigenesis and metastasis. Anti-ST6GAL1 antibody (ZB55) recognizes an enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of sialic acid to carbohydrate chains, leading to the formation of sialylated antigens that serve as important cell-surface carbohydrate determinants. ST6GAL1′s presence in the Golgi apparatus and secretion into the extracellular fluid highlight a pivotal role in generating antigens, such as CDw75, which is primarily expressed on B and T cells. The upregulation of CDw75 in B-cell leukemias suggests that ST6GAL1 may have implications in cancer biology, making ST6GAL1 a valuable target for research into tumor development and immune response. ST6GAL1 monoclonal antibody (ZB55) facilitates the study of these critical processes, serving as an essential tool for researchers investigating the complex roles of sialylation in health and disease.

How can CDw75 (ZB55): sc-20063 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-20063 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-20063 FITC).
