    SEE ALSO...

Cdc20B Antibody (2F2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Cdc20B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Cdc20B antibody (2F2) is available as the non-conjugated format. Cdc20B, consisting of 519 amino acids, is characterized by the presence of seven WD repeats, which are essential for function in cell cycle regulation. These WD repeats form a unique tertiary propeller structure that facilitates protein-protein interactions, allowing Cdc20B to play a critical role in the activation of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a key regulator of the cell cycle. Proper functioning of Cdc20B is vital for timely progression through mitosis, and dysregulation can lead to various cancers due to improper cell division. The gene encoding Cdc20B is located on human chromosome 5, which is significant as alterations in this chromosome are associated with several genetic disorders, including Cri du chat syndrome and therapy-related acute myelogenous leukemias. Cdc20B monoclonal antibody (2F2) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying cell cycle dynamics and the molecular mechanisms underlying cell division.

I am using Cdc20B (2F2): sc-517066 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
