CD137 Antibody (0.N.185) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD137 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD137, also known as ILA or 4-1BB in mouse, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family and plays a crucial role in the immune response by delivering a costimulatory signal to T lymphocytes. CD137 is primarily expressed on activated T cells and interacts with an inducible ligand found on B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, which is essential for effective antigen presentation and the generation of cytotoxic T cells. The structure of CD137 includes a cysteine-rich extracellular domain that is vital for ligand binding and subsequent signaling pathways, which ultimately influence T cell activation and survival. CD137 not only enhances immune responses but also regulates peripheral monocyte survival through the release of specific cytokines, including macrophage colony-stimulating factor. Soluble forms of CD137 have been identified in the sera of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, suggesting a potential role in modulating immune responses and providing insights into therapeutic strategies for autoimmune diseases. Anti-CD137 antibody (0.N.185) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell biology and immune regulation.
