CBX6 Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CBX6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CBX6 (H-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CBX6, also known as chromobox protein homolog 6, is a crucial component of the polycomb group (PcG) complex, which plays a significant role in regulating gene expression patterns associated with development and cell proliferation. This 412 amino acid protein is characterized by a chromobox (CHR) domain, a 37 amino acid motif essential for targeting chromodomain proteins to specific nuclear regions, thereby influencing chromatin structure and function. CBX6′s ability to modify chromatin and maintain a transcriptionally repressive state is vital for proper cellular function and development, ensuring genes are expressed at the right time and context. Using anti-CBX6 antibody (H-1) in research can provide insights into regulatory mechanisms of gene expression and chromatin dynamics in various biological processes.
