CAY10415 is used in studies of blood glucose levels and has been shown to lower blood glucose levels in obese, hyperglycemic, hyperinsulinemic, and insulin-resistant KKAy mice. CAY10415 has also been shown to enhance the rate of insulin-stimulated lipogenesis in 3T3-L1 adipocytes in a dose-dependent manner.
