迄今为止已报道的选择性最强的 COX-2 抑制剂之一，其选择性指数（SI；SI = IC50 COX-1/IC50 COX-2）>500,000（COX-1 IC50 >500 mM，COX-2 IC50 <1 nM）2。(作为参考，塞来昔布的选择性指数约为 400。因此，该化合物的 SI 值比第一代选择性 COX-2 抑制剂高出数倍，与第二代选择性 COX-2 抑制剂（如 Valdecoxib 和 etoricoxib）的 SI 值相当。
