Carnosol is a naturally occurring phytopolyphenol found in rosemary that functions as an antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anticarcinogen. It may act to inhibit inductions of COX-2 by blocking PKC signaling. It is also an inhibitor of AR and ER alpha.
