Cardamonin is a chalone analog that display anti-inflammatory activity. May inhibit NO and PGE2 production from LPS- and IFN-gamma-induced RAW cells and inhibits TXB2 production via the COX-1 and COX-2 pathways. Also may act to inhibit NF-kappaB activation
