Datasheets
  • CARD 10 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ CARD 10 antibody, cited in 1 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 857-877 near the C-terminus of CARD 10 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of CARD 10 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including porcine
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for CARD 10 Antibody (B-4) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with CARD 10 Antibody (B-4) (see ordering information below).

SEE ALSO...

CARD 10 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects CARD 10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CARD 10 antibody (B-4) is available as non-conjugated format. CARD 10 protein, also known as CARD-containing MAGUK protein 3 or Carma 3, plays a crucial role in apoptosis signaling by facilitating multiprotein complex assembly at plasma membrane, which is essential for cell death and survival regulation. CARD 10 belongs to membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, serving as molecular scaffolds that localize signaling proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes. CARD domain structure, consisting of 6 or 7 antiparallel alpha helices, enables specific protein-protein interactions necessary for activating downstream signaling pathways, including NFκB pathway through BCL-10 interaction. CARD 10 is expressed in various adult and fetal tissues, including heart, kidney, and liver, as well as multiple cancer cell lines, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271849 P appropriate for?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
