CALR3 Antibody (1H2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CALR3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CALR3 antibody (1H2) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. Calreticulin-3, also known as CRT2, is a crucial endoplasmic reticulum protein composed of 384 amino acids, featuring two calcium-binding domains: a P-domain and a C-domain. CALR3 plays a vital role in the calreticulin/calnexin cycle, which is essential for protein folding, oligomeric assembly, and quality control within the endoplasmic reticulum. Proper functioning of CALR3 ensures that only correctly folded proteins are transported to their final destinations, thereby maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing the accumulation of misfolded proteins that can lead to cellular stress and disease. CALR3 exhibits specific expression in the testis and has been identified as a cancer-testis antigen, frequently expressed in various cancers, making CALR3 a potential target for cancer immunotherapy.
