CA XIII Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects carbonic anhydrase XIII (CA XIII) in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CA XIII, also known as carbonate dehydratase XIII, belongs to the carbonic anhydrase family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. CA XIII (D-8) antibody targets proteins predominantly found in the cytoplasm of cells within the spleen, prostate, thymus, ovary, testis, colon, and small intestine, highlighting CA XIII′s significant role in various physiological processes.
