C3A Receptor Agonist is a G protein-coupled receptor protein involved in the complement system. When a C3A receptor is activated, neutrophils are immobilized, demonstrating the use case for C3A Receptor Agonist. These proteins have a variety of biochemical and physiological effects. At the cellular level, they can increase the activity of certain enzymes, such as adenylate cyclase and phospholipase C. They can also increase the levels of certain neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and norepinephrine. At the tissue level, C3A receptor agonists can increase heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rate. At the organ level, they can increase the activity of the immune system, as well as the activity of the gastrointestinal tract.
