Bufotalin is a less potent Na+/K+-ATPase inhibitor than other bufadienolides. Potent immunosuppressor. Bufotalin is a peptide naturally present in the venom of the toad species Bufo bufo. This small molecule comprises 16 amino acids and belongs to the group of peptides called bufotoxins.
