BTF3a/b Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects BTF3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BTF3 antibody (H-9) recognizes two isoforms of BTF3, BTF3a and BTF3b, which are produced from alternative splicing of the BTF3 gene. While both isoforms share a high degree of similarity, BTF3b is characterized by the absence of the first 44 amino acids at the N-terminal of BTF3a, which renders BTF3b incapable of inducing transcription despite binding to RNA polymerase II.
