QUICK LINKS

BRL-37344 is a beta3-AR (beta 3-adrenoceptor) selective agonist with lipolytic activity. The beta 3 receptor has been reported to have a high affinity towards BRL-37344. Studies show that BRL-373344 promotes thermogenesis and its RR enantiomer acts as a stronger agonist in brown adipocytes in comparison to white adipocytes. Analysis of BRL-37344, isoproterenol, and norepinephrine showed BRL-37344 to be the most potent agonist. BRL-37344 is an activator of beta2-AR and beta1-AR.
