SEE ALSO...

Blood Group A antigen Antibody (Z2A) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Blood Group A antigen of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-Blood Group A antigen antibody (Z2A) is available as the non-conjugated form. Blood Group A antigen plays a crucial role in the immune system by determining blood compatibility during transfusions and organ transplants, which is vital for patient safety and successful medical procedures. Blood Group A antigen is primarily located on the surface of erythrocytes and certain epithelial cells, where Blood Group A antigen contributes to the recognition and interaction of cells within the immune system. Blood Group A antigen can influence the body′s immune response, as Blood Group A antigen is recognized by specific antibodies in individuals with different blood types, highlighting Blood Group A antigen′s importance in transfusion medicine and immunology. Additionally, blood group antigens, including A, B, and H, undergo modulation during malignant cellular transformation, which can affect tumor progression and immune evasion. Understanding the dynamics of Blood Group A antigen is essential for developing targeted therapies and improving patient outcomes in cancer treatment.
