Bisabolene (mixture), a sesquiterpene present in oregano and other aromatic plants, is a mixture that exhibits promising characteristics as a potential anticancer agent. It is capable of inducing apoptosis in the A549 cancer cell line. Moreover, it is utilized in creating artificial oil of bergamot, myrrh, and lemon, and serves as an excellent fixative for neroli bases.
