Bis(cyclohexanone)oxaldihydrazone used in the quantitative spectroscopic determination of copper as well as for the experimental study of mitochondrial metabolism. Bis(cyclohexanone)oxaldihydrazone is known to be a neurotoxic agent. Bis(cyclohexanone)oxaldihydrazone can be used to study the pathobiology of remyelination in corpus callosum. Bis(cyclohexanone)oxaldihydrazone can also be used as a model to study components of neuroinflammation.
