β-taxilin Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects β-taxilin in mouse and rat samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). β-taxilin (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. β-taxilin, also known as MDP77, plays a crucial role in promoting nerve regeneration and is implicated in intracellular vesicle transport, which is vital for maintaining cellular communication and function. β-taxilin is predominantly expressed in cardiac and skeletal muscle, where β-taxilin interacts with syntaxin family members STX1A, STX3A, and STX4A through its coiled coil region, facilitating essential processes in neurotransmitter release and muscle contraction. Additionally, β-taxilin interacts with the alpha subunit of the nascent polypeptide-associated complex (NAC), influencing nuclear distribution and suggesting that the taxilin family is integral not only to the translational process but also to transcriptional regulation. This multifaceted role underscores β-taxilin′s importance in both neuronal and muscular health, making anti-β-taxilin antibody (E-5) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
