β-parvin Antibody (D-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects β-parvin of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). β-parvin Antibody (D-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. β-parvin plays a crucial role in linking integrins and associated proteins to intracellular signaling pathways, which are essential for regulating actin cytoskeletal dynamics and promoting cell survival. β-parvin is localized to focal adhesions, where β-parvin interacts with key partners such as integrin-linked kinase (ILK), paxillin, and α-actinin, facilitating processes like cell adhesion, spreading, motility, and survival. The interaction between β-parvin and ILK is vital for establishing cell polarity, which is particularly important for leukocyte migration during immune responses. The parvin family, which includes α-parvin, β-parvin, and γ-parvin, is integral to cellular response to external signals, with β-parvin specifically linking initial integrin signals to rapid actin reorganization, thereby playing a pivotal role in fibroblast migration. β-parvin Antibody (D-2) in multiple formats allows for versatile applications in research, making anti-β-parvin antibody (D-2) an essential tool for studying cell adhesion and migration in various biological contexts.
