Benzyl Thiocyanate has been found to increase the protein production of Streptomyces aureofaciens. Benzyl thiocyanate has also been shown to be effective against methylazoxymethanol acetate (MAM)-induced intestinal carcinogenesis and to reduce unscheduled DNA synthesis for some genotoxic carcinogens in rats.
