SEE ALSO...

AXUD1 Antibody (2055E3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects AXUD1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-AXUD1 antibody (2055E3a) is available as a non-conjugated format. AXUD1 protein, also known as Axin-1 up-regulated gene 1 protein or TGF-β-induced apoptosis protein 3, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in apoptosis regulation. AXUD1 is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where AXUD1 influences gene expression related to cell survival and death. AXUD1 expression is notably elevated in response to wild-type Axin gene, which is significant given that Axin is a key regulator of beta-catenin, a protein involved in the Wnt signaling pathway that is often dysregulated in various cancers. Down-regulation of AXUD1 in kidney, lung, liver, and colon cancers compared to unaffected tissues suggests a potential function as a tumor suppressor, highlighting AXUD1′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis. With widespread expression in tissues such as placenta, lung, skeletal muscle, leukocytes, and pancreas, AXUD1 may also have broader implications in developmental and immune processes, making AXUD1 a valuable target for research in cancer biology and therapeutic interventions.

I am using AXUD1 (2055E3a): sc-81191 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration.
