SEE ALSO...

ATPIF1 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ATPIF1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ATPIF1 antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ATPIF1, also known as ATPase inhibitory factor 1, plays a crucial role in regulating mitochondrial ATP synthase activity, particularly under low pH conditions. By binding to the C-terminal region of a β subunit of the F1-ATPase, ATPIF1 inhibits the enzyme′s activity, thereby preventing excessive ATP production during metabolic stress. This regulation is vital for maintaining cellular energy homeostasis and protecting cells from potential damage caused by overactive ATP synthesis. Additionally, ATPIF1′s reversible binding to the F1F0-ATPase complex occurs on the surface of endothelial cells, highlighting its importance in vascular function and response to metabolic changes.
