SEE ALSO...

ARX Antibody (4A8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ARX protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ARX antibody (4A8) is available as the non-conjugated form. The aristaless-related homeobox (ARX) gene encodes a protein consisting of 562 amino acids, featuring two conserved domains: a C-peptide (or aristaless domain) and a prd-like class homeobox domain. ARX monoclonal antibody (4A8) plays a crucial role in studying the differentiation and maintenance of neuronal cell types within the human central nervous system, making ARX essential for proper brain development and function. ARX (4A8) antibody helps detect expression predominantly in the fetal and adult brain as well as in skeletal muscle, highlighting ARX importance in both developmental and physiological contexts. Notably, defects in ARX are linked to a range of serious disorders, including X-linked mental retardation, X-linked lissencephaly with abnormal genitalia, and various epilepsy syndromes, underscoring ARX significance in neurodevelopmental processes. Anti-ARX antibody (4A8) can help researchers gain valuable insights into these conditions and the underlying mechanisms of neuronal differentiation and maintenance.
