ARL4 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ARL4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARL4 Antibody (B-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARL4, a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein subfamily, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in neurogenesis during embryonic development and somitogenesis in the early stages of adult spermatogenesis. ARL4′s localization to the nucleus, facilitated by a C-terminal nuclear localization signal that interacts with Importin-α, underscores ARL4′s importance in regulating gene expression and cellular signaling pathways. While ARL4 is predominantly expressed in spermatogonia and Sertoli cells, ARL4 is also found in various tissues, indicating ARL4′s potential involvement in diverse biological functions. Notably, ARL4 does not activate the cholera toxin ADP-ribosyltransferase, distinguishing ARL4 from other members of the ARF family, such as ARL6 and ARL7, and highlighting ARL4′s unique role in cellular dynamics.
