ARFGAP1/2/3 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARFGAP1/2/3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARFGAP1/2/3 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARFGAP1, ARFGAP2, and ARFGAP3 proteins are crucial GTPase-activating proteins that play a significant role in vesicle trafficking regulation, particularly in their association with the Golgi apparatus. These proteins facilitate GTP hydrolysis bound to ADP-ribosylation factor 1 (ARF), essential for coat protein disassembly from Golgi-derived membranes and vesicles. This disassembly is crucial for subsequent vesicle fusion with target compartments, ensuring proper intracellular transport and communication. Phosphoinositides enhance ARFGAP1, ARFGAP2, and ARFGAP3 function, while phosphatidylcholine acts as an inhibitor. ARFGAP1, ARFGAP2, and ARFGAP3 genes are located on human chromosomes 20q13.33, 11p11.2, and 22q13.2, respectively, highlighting their genetic significance in cellular processes.
