Arachidonic Acid Sodium Salt is a known precursor for prostaglandins, prostacyclin, and thromboxane. Arachidonic Acid Sodium Salt binds to G-protein a-subunits in a covalent, post-translational manner. Ras-GAP is inhibited by Arachidonic Acid Sodium Salt. Arachidonic Acid Sodium Salt Stimulates the synthesis of nitric oxide by platelets. Additionally, Arachidonic Acid Sodium Salt modulates nitric oxide production by prostaglandin synthesis via the cyclooxygenase pathway.
