APRIL Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects APRIL in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). APRIL, also known as TNFSF13, is a Type II membrane protein that plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including immune response regulation and tissue homeostasis. APRIL (H-10) antibody enables detection in transformed cell lines and human tumor tissues, particularly in colon, thyroid, and lymphoid systems, highlighting APRIL′s significance in cancer biology. The structure of APRIL features a C-terminal extracellular domain with jelly roll topology, crucial for ligand trimerization. This structural feature facilitates APRIL binding to receptors, leading to oligomerization that triggers downstream signaling pathways essential for cell proliferation and survival. APRIL′s ability to form multivalent ligands at the receptor binding site enhances functional capacity, making anti-APRIL antibody (H-10) an invaluable tool for investigating complex roles in health and disease.
