    APBA2BP Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects APBA2BP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-APBA2BP antibody (A-2) is available as a non-conjugated antibody. APBA2BP protein, also known as beta-Amyloid A4 protein-binding family A member 2-binding protein, NECAB3, NIP1, SYTIP2, or XB51, is a 396 amino acid protein primarily localized to the perinuclear region of the cytoplasm. Such localization positions APBA2BP to effectively interact with key proteins involved in amyloid processing, particularly the β-Amyloid precursor protein. APBA2BP contains one calcium-binding EF-hand domain and one ABM domain, essential for modulating calcium signaling and protein interactions. APBA2BP shows high expression in skeletal muscle and heart, with lower levels in the pancreas and brain, playing a significant role in regulating mature β-Amyloid formation through X11β interaction, thereby influencing Alzheimer′s disease pathogenesis. Three isoforms of APBA2BP arise from alternative splicing, contributing to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms in various tissues.
