    SEE ALSO...

AP-4 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects AP-4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AP-4, a member of the AP transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in gene regulation by specifically binding to the DNA consensus sequence 5′-CAGCTG-3′, which is vital for the transcription of various target genes, including those involved in immune response and cellular growth. AP-4 (F-1) antibody′s ability to detect interactions with promoters for immunoglobulin-κ gene families and simian virus 40 highlights AP-4′s importance in both normal cellular functions and disease states, such as cancer. Additionally, AP-4 is characterized by its helix-loop-helix structure, which is essential for DNA-binding capability and interaction with other transcription factors, thereby influencing the expression of genes critical for cellular processes. The gene encoding AP-4 is located on human chromosome 12q24, and AP-4 expression is tightly regulated, making AP-4 a significant focus for research in developmental biology and oncology. Anti-AP-4 antibody (F-1) is an invaluable tool for researchers aiming to explore the functional dynamics of AP-4 in various biological contexts.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with AP-4 (F-1): sc-376977?

    Asked by: AbPolly
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
