Anisodamine is an alkaloid structurally related to atropine. Like atropine and scopolamine, anisodamine is a non-specific cholinergic antagonist. It has been demonstrated that anisodamine blocks prejunctional muscarinic receptors. Anisodamine is an α1-AR (α1-adrenergic receptor) inhibitor
