AMPK Activator is a furancarboxylic acid derivative that can permeate the cell and partially inhibit the mitochondrial complex I. Research shows that AMPK Activator increases glucose uptake in L6 myocytes, and inhibits CCL2-induced mTORC1 activity and survivin expression in human prostate cancer PC-3 cells (sc-2220). In multiple myeloma cells, AMPK Activator inhibits cell growth.
