    SEE ALSO...

Aminopeptidase P3 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Aminopeptidase P3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Aminopeptidase P3 antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Aminopeptidase P3, also known as APP3 or XPNPEP3, is a 507 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in protein metabolism by catalyzing the removal of N-terminal amino acids from proteins, particularly those linked to proline. This enzymatic activity is vital for various physiological processes, including protein turnover and regulation of bioactive peptides, which can influence numerous cellular functions. Aminopeptidase P3 is expressed throughout the body and utilizes manganese as a cofactor, highlighting its importance in maintaining proper metabolic functions. Additionally, Aminopeptidase P3 exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms, and its gene is located on chromosome 22, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Phelan-McDermid syndrome and Neurofibromatosis type 2. Aminopeptidase P3 (C-5) monoclonal antibody in multiple formats serves as a versatile tool for researchers studying the role of this important enzyme in health and disease.
