alpha-Sarcin, Aspergillus giganteus is a native alpha-sarcin from Aspergillus giganteus. alpha-Sarcin is a ribosome-inactivating protein that has been demonstrated to induce apoptosis in rhabdomyosarcoma cells. As a specific ribotoxin, it effectively inhibits protein synthesis through the cleavage of 28S RNA. alpha-Sarcin is suitable for induction of apoptosis and inhibition of protein synthesis.
