QUICK LINKS

α-Guanidinoglutaric acid, also known as Guanidinoglutaric acid (GGA) is a compound that functions as a linear mixed-type inhibitor of nNOS (neuronal nitric oxide synthase). With a Ki (inhibition constant) of 2.69 µM, α-Guanidinoglutaric acid effectively inhibits the activity of nNOS. Notably, α-Guanidinoglutaric acid acts as an inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase, thereby impeding the production of nitric oxide.
