α,β-Methyleneadenosine 5′-diphosphate sodium salt is an inhibitor of CD73. CD73 is a 5′-nucleotidase which is a ecto-5′-nucleotidase enzyme that converts AMP to adenosine. In addition to CD73, α,β-Methyleneadenosine 5′-diphosphate sodium salt can assist in inhibiting ectonucleotidases. α,β-Methyleneadenosine 5′-diphosphate sodium salt is used to study adensosinergic signaling regulation.
