Akt Inhibitor is a phosphatidylinositol ether analog that potently and selectively inhibits Akt (PKB) (IC50 of 5.0 muM). It moderately inhibits PI 3-kinase activity (IC50 = 83.0 muM). Akt Inhibitor also inhibits the growth of various cancer cell lines with IC50 values in the 1 - 10 muM range.
