    SEE ALSO...

Aiolos Antibody (3H5-G7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the Aiolos protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Aiolos (3H5-G7) antibody is available as the non-conjugated isotype antibody. Aiolos, also known as zinc finger protein Ikaros 3 or ZNFN1A3, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 509 amino acids that plays a significant role in lymphocyte differentiation regulation. This function is vital for proper immune system development, ensuring appropriate T-cell maturation and activation essential for adaptive immunity. Mutations in Aiolos can lead to dysregulation of these processes, contributing to leukemogenesis and various hematological disorders. Predominantly expressed in the spleen, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes, Aiolos contains six C2H2-type zinc fingers, a structural motif that facilitates DNA binding and formation of homodimers and heterodimers with other Ikaros family members, such as Helios and Eos. These interactions are critical for transcriptional regulation of genes involved in immune responses, highlighting Aiolos′s importance in maintaining immune homeostasis.

I am using Aiolos (3H5-G7): sc-293421 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
