Ageladine A, TFA is a pH-sensitive fluorescent dye which can be used for live imaging in acidic organelles, cells, and whole animals due to its non-toxic nature, however there is limited detection in alkaline solutions. Ageladine A, TFA is trapped in cells and organelles via hydrophobic interactions on the inner side of membranes. It exhibits long-term stability due to limited metabolization, which causes slow photobleaching. Ageladine A, TFA is an angiogenesis inhibitor, and also inhibits the matrix metalloproteinases MMP-1, -2, -8, -9, -12, -13 and the kinases Tyk2, Dyrk2, Dyrk1A, and Rsk-1.
