    SEE ALSO...

AF9 Antibody (3C11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects AF9 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-AF9 antibody (3C11) is available as the non-conjugated isotype antibody. AF9 protein, also known as MLLT3 or YEATS3, plays a critical role in gene expression regulation and is involved in chromatin remodeling, which is essential for proper cellular differentiation and function. AF9 protein′s significance is underscored by association with various chromosomal translocations that lead to fusion proteins implicated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AF9 protein is frequently involved in translocations with MLL gene, resulting in t(9;11)(p22;q23) translocation, which is a hallmark of de novo AML. AF9 protein′s interaction with other proteins, such as ELL and ENL, further highlights importance in transcriptional regulation of genes critical for hematopoiesis. Understanding AF9 protein′s function and interactions is vital for elucidating molecular mechanisms underlying leukemia and developing targeted therapies.
