ADAMTS-17 Antibody (Q-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ADAMTS-17 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ADAMTS-17 antibody (Q-12) is available as a non-conjugated format. ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain with Thrombospondin type 1 modules) family comprises zinc-dependent proteases that play crucial roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue remodeling and disease progression such as arthritis and cancer. ADAMTS-17 is a 1,095 amino acid secreted protein expressed in tissues such as liver, prostate, brain, and fetal lung. ADAMTS-17 contains seven N-glycosylation sites essential for stability and function, as these post-translational modifications influence protein folding, localization, and molecular interactions. A conserved cysteine residue in ADAMTS-17′s cysteine-switch motif enables zinc ion binding, critical for regulating enzymatic activity. This balance of structure and modification highlights ADAMTS-17′s role in cellular homeostasis and potential as a therapeutic target.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tante lanesThe an,body was diluted at 1:500 in 3%BSA and used ON. The filter was then incubated with a secondary an,body (used 1:3000 in 5%Milk for 1h). It is not visible only a band migra,ng at about 121 KDa, (expected Molecular weight) but there are a lot of aspecific lanes in MDAMB231 breast cancer cells. The western blot is not very clear. Probably is beSer to use other dilu, ons of primary an,body.
