ACTR-IB Antibody (ALEX66) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ACTR-IB protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-ACTR-IB antibody (ALEX66) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying ACTR-IB protein. ACTR-IB protein, also known as ALK-4, plays a crucial role in the signaling pathways of the transforming growth factor beta superfamily, which are essential for various cellular processes, including cell differentiation and tissue homeostasis. Specifically, ACTR-IB is located on the cell membrane, where ACTR-IB forms a heteromeric complex with type II receptors, facilitating the binding of activin and initiating downstream signaling cascades. This localization is vital as ACTR-IB allows for the precise regulation of gene expression and cellular responses to environmental cues, impacting developmental processes and cellular functions. Understanding the dynamics of ACTR-IB and its interactions is critical for elucidating ACTR-IB′s role in physiological and pathological conditions, making ACTR-IB monoclonal antibody (ALEX66) an invaluable resource for researchers in the field.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-73677 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: jerojero
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
