Acrosin Antibody (ACR-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Acrosin protein of porcine origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Acrosin antibody (ACR-2) is available as a non-conjugated format. Acrosin, a crucial member of the peptidase S1 family, is predominantly found in the acrosome of mature mammalian spermatozoa, where Acrosin plays a vital role in fertilization. This serine proteinase exhibits trypsin-like cleavage specificity, and proacrosin is synthesized exclusively during the postmeiotic stages of spermatogenesis.
