ABCC13 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects ABCC13 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ABCC13 antibody (B-2) is available as the non-conjugated form. ABCC13 protein, a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) superfamily, plays a significant role in the energy-dependent transport of various substrates across cellular membranes, although ABCC13 is not a functional transporter due to the absence of key motifs typically found in ABC proteins. This 274 amino acid protein is predominantly expressed in the colon, with lower expression levels observed in the brain, liver, placenta, lung, ovary, and pancreas. Notably, ABCC13 is produced in five isoforms through alternative splicing, which may contribute to diverse regulatory functions within different tissues.
