QUICK LINKS

AAMU is a CYP1A2 metabolite of caffeine used as a building block for the synthesis of biologically active molecules. It has also been used in the development of molecular probes for the analysis of protein-nucleic acid interactions. AAMU can interact with DNA, RNA, proteins, and other molecules. This allows it to regulate gene expression, as well as cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
